Mckenzie Brown Commits to Newman University!
Congrats to Mckenzie Brown(Boylan Catholic High), who has officially verbally committed today to accept a full scholarship to play for Newman University(NCAA Div 2). Mckenzie is a PG/Guard that has lead Boylan in scoring for the last couple years and a top player in the NIC 10. Basketball fans in the Rock River Valley are well aware that McKenzie never played for the Rockford Heat AAU program. However, when recruiting did not go as Mckenzie had hoped, Rockford Heat was contacted and asked to help a top 815 athlete and Rockford Heat responded. Mckenzie will major in Business/Sports management while playing basketball. Good luck on the rest of your senior season.
