Brandi will always will be one of the toughest players I have ever seen and coached!!! I love her like my own daughter and I can’t come up with the right words to describe how proud I am of her and the journey she has traveled! This kid who turned into a women has taken what sports can throw at you and literally said watch me and watch me do it differently!! It’s hard for me not to reminisce and think about tears shed in 6th grade through high school and through college. “Fierless” wasn’t just an adjective, Brandi turned it into a noun! Too many college coaches get caught up on size and can’t recognize true grit, heart, and skill. Well, I know a couple college coaches that would never look past Brandi, as a matter of fact I love it when college coaches ask me, how does a player compare to Brandi Fier, my response is always-that’s not a fair question…. most players(and parents) will never go through what that class of 2015 went though. That team was different! Brandi Fier, I will always be one of your biggest fans and now I will be cheering you on through life! I am proud of you! Josh Flickinger, congrats on using your platform to help lift these athletes up-they deserve it! Julie Kay Fier and Scott-Congrats on raising a woman athlete that understands what it means to give 100% to whatever she does. ??drop! #rockfordheatfamily
