Congrats to Rockford Heat Elite Player Ashlei Lopez(Rockford Lutheran High), she officially signed her “Letter of Intent” yesterday to play for Morehead(Div 1) in front of friends, family, teammates, coaches, and media! Ashlei plays point guard/Shooting Guard and has had an amazing high school career that has proven she is ready for the next level! Ashlei is an athletic guard that plays relentlessly on both sides of the ball. Ashlei is a slashing guard that attacks the basket with fire, while being a threat to get to the rim Ash is also a knock down the 3 point shooter. Some of Ashlei’s basketball accolades include All Conference Selections and US Junior Nationals All Star Selections. Ashlei will major in Sports Management/Sports Communications while continuing her basketball career!
